Whole body health emphasizes your entire well-being. It integrates your mental and physical well-being as a whole. The way you believe, feel and think has an impact on the state of your health. When your whole body is healthy, this means that you are on the right track.
We live in a fast-changing environment in every way: from climate, food sources, technology, etc.
We are receiving less energy from the terrestrial magnetic fields that we readily obtained by living and working outside, in what was to us our natural environment. These changes are major; they have occurred in a relatively short period of time, not giving mankind enough time to evolve and adapt physiologically to keep our whole-body health at optimum levels.
Our buildings do insulate us from the health-giving elements we need. Consider the subtle changes that have occurred in a couple of generations. We no longer walk barefoot on the earth, earn our living outside in the field, or live in natural buildings made of wood and mud (all materials that contain and are conducive to magnetic fields, allowing them in to our living environment), jeopardising whole body health.
Isn’t it true that most of us in the Western world commute everywhere in metal capsules (cars, trains or planes)? It is apparent to all of us, that the way we live has altered dramatically in the last century alone, chiefly with the advent of the industrial revolution and electricity in both our workplace and in our homes, affecting our whole body health.
Modern pollution in terms of additives to our food and water supplies. Food being genetically modified, water with lots of ingredients that don’t belong in our body; combined with the electrical waves we are surrounded by daily, bombard our bodies causing a new type of stress to our whole body health.
Radio waves, microwaves, mobile phones, electric fields from overhead cables, and even our own home lighting and power for household appliances are surrounding us.
This cocktail of pollutants has depleted a significant amount of our own natural energy source. How much it has depleted our system is yet to be determined, but there is currently a lot of research going into the causes and triggers for such “modern” diseases as “Magnetic Field Deficiency Syndrome” (MFDS), Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and most notably ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome). Plus, the invisible epidemic which is the negative emotional energies that have become “trapped” within us, adds to our whole body health another factor to deal with.
Your health is one of the most important things in your life. It affects your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. That’s why it’s so important to be proactive about your health and take steps to prevent illness and disease. Being proactive in health means taking steps to improve your whole body health, before you get sick.
Whole body health is physical, behavioural, spiritual, and socioeconomic well-being as defined by individuals, families, and communities. To achieve this, whole body health care is an interprofessional, team-based approach anchored in trusted longitudinal relationships to promote resilience, prevent disease, and restore health.
